Diabetes had once been identified as an adulthood disorder; however, in the latest survey almost 2 million people less than 20 years of age are suffering with diabetes and almost 80 million Americans of the same age group are suffering with pre-diabetic condition. The condition is associated with deregulation of body’s sugar metabolism pathway. The sugar since is not being utilized by the cells; will be stored by the body, in the bloodstream. Diabetes is mainly classified as type 1, which is usually diagnosed in children as well as young adults. It is often associated with inability of insulin hormone to metabolically digest sugar molecules; thus, increasing its concentration in bloodstream.  Second category is diabetes type 2, wherein insulin hormone is not produced or produced in a very low amount, to the extent of it not being able to maintain sugar metabolism levels in the bloodstream. The third most common diabetes is gestational diabetes, wherein women may be affected with increased sugar level, during her pregnancy. Since diabetes is a kind of silent killer, it should never be ignored, as it can cause organ failure in a long run. 

Current steroidal shots and hormonal supplements are being offered, not to cure the disease but to manage it under controllable condition. However, it should be noted that long term exposure to steroidal supplementation can harm the body in a great way. These facts explain the need to identify an alternative treatment agenda that can pinpoint and work at the root cause.
